Luxury Yacht Accessories: A Room-by-Room Guide

A tan woven-embossed leather serving tray with stainless steel handles carrying a coffee service on a low table in a yacht salon, the sea visible through the windows.

In brief

  • Luxury yacht accessories here are loose interior objects, not toys and tech. Each must stay put, stow, and survive salt air and handling.
  • Buy by room: salon, galley and dining, bar and cockpit, cabins, heads, laundry and deck.
  • Only the towel basket is hand-woven; trays and covers are woven-embossed.
  • Pieces are held in stock, ship within 1-2 business days and typically arrive in 4-15 business days, duties paid.
  • Start with a serving tray, a coaster set on a stand and one valet tray per cabin. See the tray collection.

On handover day the joinery is finished and the lockers are empty. Every loose thing still has to be chosen: the tray that carries coffee aft, the box on the salon table, the bin in each head.

Luxury yacht accessories are the loose, non-fixed objects of a yacht's interior: trays, boxes, tableware, barware, bathroom sets, baskets and cushions. In this guide the term does not cover water toys or electronics. An object earns its place aboard by passing three tests. It stays put, it stows, and it survives salt air and handling. The same tests apply to boat interior accessories at any length.

Burgess, the superyacht brokerage, sets the bar in one sentence: "Any accessory selected to live on board needs to be salt, UV and shock resistant (where possible)."

Designers know this territory as FF&E: movable furniture, fixtures and equipment with "no permanent connection to the structure of a building or utilities". Stewards may say OS&E, operating supplies and equipment, a term borrowed from hotel procurement. One procurement firm says OS&E "includes a wide range of operational components that support day to day functionality".

The spending is real. NMMA's 2025 Statistical Abstract, as reported by Boating Industry Canada, puts US recreational marine retail spending at $54 billion in 2025, with aftermarket accessories flat at $12.1 billion. That category is far wider than interiors, but it shows the scale of the accessories market.

What separates luxury yacht accessories from home décor

Luxury yacht accessories differ from home décor in what the boat asks of them. A yacht interior is humid, salted, sunlit and moving. Yacht interior accessories need a contained form, a footprint that stows, and materials that can be looked after aboard: leather, stainless steel and timber.

NOAA notes that near-surface relative humidity "is roughly 0.80 over the oceans", about 80%. The Canadian Conservation Institute states that "mould requires a relative humidity in excess of 65% to grow". Setting the two side by side is our reasoning, not the sources': sea air sits above the mould threshold, so ventilation matters.

The Australian Stainless Steel Development Association (ASSDA) explains: "Sea salt has the characteristic of staying wet until a very low relative humidity (RH)." The barware and bath pieces use 304-grade stainless steel. The British Stainless Steel Association says 304 should not be considered suitable for seawater service.

So 304 is the standard interior and food-contact grade, not a seawater grade. If salt is left on it, it can tea-stain, so rinse with fresh water and dry.

Light is the other risk for leather. Direct sunlight, the Canadian Conservation Institute warns, "can cause discolouration, desiccation, and photo-chemical degradation".

Woven-embossed means a weave texture pressed into the leather. Hand-woven means built from leather strips, which in this guide is the towel basket alone. Every piece is made by hand in Türkiye.

Salon: serving trays, nesting sets and boxes

The salon needs three loose objects. A serving tray carries a full service in one trip, a nesting tray set stows as one, and a lidded box contains small items. Veyra Deck offers all three in leather, each in eight colourways.

The Large Woven Leather Serving Tray with Stainless Steel Handles is 50 x 37 cm, from $490, in eight colourways. The leather is woven-embossed. Measure the locker that must take it flat before measuring the table.

The Mirror-Top Nesting Leather Tray Set is three squares of 41, 31 and 21 cm, each 3.5 cm high, from $1130, in eight colourways. It nests for stowage. The Walnut-Framed Leather Storage Box, Large, is 32 x 23 x 7 cm, from $300, in eight colourways: hand-covered leather on a walnut frame.

See the serving trays, the full tray collection, or read the leather tray buying guide.

Galley and dining: coasters, napkin holder, placemats

Galley and dining accessories must hold their ground on a moving table. The useful yacht galley accessories are a coaster set on a stand, a napkin holder with a stainless steel handle and leather placemats 1 cm thick. All sit in the Veyra Deck tabletop collection.

Loose coasters scatter when the boat moves. The Woven Leather Coaster Set with Stainless Steel Stand is six woven-embossed coasters of 10 x 10 cm, from $180, in eight colourways. The stand keeps the six together.

The Woven Leather Napkin Holder with Stainless Steel Handle is woven-embossed leather, 21 x 21.5 x 3.5 cm, from $210, in seven colourways. The handle weights the napkins on a moving table.

Bar and cockpit: ice buckets, coolers and a thermos

The bar and cockpit need barware that holds temperature on a moving surface. The Veyra Deck range has double-walled stainless steel ice buckets, a champagne bucket, a single-bottle wine cooler and a 1.5 litre leather-wrapped thermos. The 304-grade steel bodies sit in woven-embossed leather sleeves.

The Leather-Wrapped Stainless Steel Ice Bucket, Large is round, 17 x 17 x 17 cm, from $400, in eight colourways. The Leather-Wrapped Stainless Steel Wine Cooler, Single Bottle, is 12 x 12 x 20 cm, from $200, in eight colourways. It holds a bottle at temperature without ice.

Barware goes outside more than most luxury boat accessories, so rinse off salt with fresh water and dry. The yacht bar accessories buying guide compares the range.

Owner's and guest cabins: valet trays and lidded boxes

Owner's and guest cabins need yacht cabin accessories sized to a shelf. A valet tray with deep sides holds a watch, keys and a phone overnight, and a lidded box takes papers and chargers. Veyra Deck offers both in leather.

The Woven Leather Valet Tray, 18.5 cm is 18.5 x 18.5 cm with 6 cm sides, from $160, in eight colourways. The compact tray is 15 x 15 cm with the same sides, from $130, also in eight colourways. Both are woven-embossed. Measure the bedside shelf, then plan one tray per berth.

The Leather Box with Mahogany Lid, Small, is 27.5 x 20 x 5.5 cm, from $310, in eight colourways.

Heads: bathroom sets, tissue box covers and waste bins

Heads, the bathrooms of a yacht, need accessories that stay grouped on a narrow basin top. The Veyra Deck four-piece bathroom set stands on its own woven-embossed leather tray. Tissue box covers come in four formats, and the waste bins have a 304-grade stainless steel inner body.

The Four-Piece Bathroom Set with Woven Leather Tray costs from $490 in seven colourways. Its woven-embossed tray is 30 x 15 x 3.5 cm. It keeps the soap dispenser, brush holder and lidded cotton holder together.

The Rectangular Woven Leather Tissue Box Cover, also woven-embossed, is 25 x 14 x 7.5 cm, from $220, in seven colourways. The Leather-Covered Stainless Steel Waste Bin, 3 litre, is 20 x 20 x 24 cm, from $220, in eight colourways.

Laundry and storage: the towel basket and the hamper

Laundry and storage spaces on a yacht need containers that keep their shape. The Veyra Deck hand-woven leather towel basket, 36 x 36 x 24 cm, is built from leather strips that form the structure. A lidded canvas and leather hamper handles the laundry.

The Hand-Woven Leather Towel Basket, 36 cm costs from $600 in eight colourways. It is the one hand-woven piece in this guide: the strips are the basket, not a pattern pressed into a panel. The Lidded Canvas and Leather Laundry Hamper is 45 x 30 x 50 cm, from $870, in seven colourways.

See the storage collection.

Deck: outdoor cushions

The deck needs cushions made for outdoor use. The Nautical Embroidered Outdoor Cushion, White, is 45 x 45 cm in water-repellent woven outdoor fabric, from $130, with a lobster or a sea star in red or navy blue. Its motif is embroidered, stitched and not printed, and the inner cushion is included.

The Coral Embroidered Rectangular Outdoor Cushion, Beige Stripe, is a 35 x 55 cm lumbar format, also from $130. Leather trays and barware go out for service and come back in, out of direct sun. Superyacht deck design in 2026 covers the move to open-air living.

Building a matching inventory

A matching inventory means one leather tone carried through every room of the yacht. Veyra Deck leather comes in eight tones: Khaki, Black, Navy Blue, Grey, Mink, Beige, Tan and Brown, with Turquoise on selected pieces. Seven of them run through every leather piece in this guide except the backgammon set: Khaki, Black, Navy Blue, Grey, Mink, Beige and Tan. The backgammon set comes in its own four colourways: Turquoise, Cream, Forest Green and Sage Green.

Brown is the exception. It is not offered on the large serving tray, the napkin holder, the wine cooler or the thermos. The bathroom set, the 25 cm tissue box cover and the laundry hamper omit it too. A boat matched in Brown will have gaps; a boat matched in one of the seven will not. A steward outfitting superyacht interior accessories reorders by tone name, not by eye.

A six-step outfitting checklist:

  1. Measure lockers and shelves first: tray stowage, bedside shelves, basin tops.
  2. Choose one tone, and confirm it is offered on every piece on the list.
  3. Start with daily-use pieces: a serving tray, a coaster set and one valet tray per berth.
  4. Outfit each head as a set: bathroom set, tissue box cover, waste bin.
  5. Add bar, storage and deck pieces once the daily service has been tried under way.
  6. Keep an inventory by piece, size, tone and location for reorders.

See the leather boxes, offered in all eight tones.

Gifts and bespoke

Yacht gifts draw on the same range. The Veyra Deck gifting collection includes a folding leather backgammon set, 50 x 38 x 3 cm open and 38 x 25 x 6 cm folded. It costs from $790 and comes in four colourways: Turquoise, Cream, Forest Green and Sage Green.

Common questions

Buyers of luxury yacht accessories ask the same six questions. They cover what a yacht actually needs, which materials survive salt air and humidity, how to stop objects sliding, matching colours, care and delivery. Each answer is written to stand alone.

What accessories does a yacht actually need?

A yacht needs the loose objects handled every day before anything decorative. That means a serving tray, a coaster set on a stand and a valet tray in each cabin. Add a bathroom set and waste bin in each head, an ice bucket and a towel basket.

Which materials survive salt air and humidity aboard?

Leather, stainless steel and timber are the materials used across this guide. Humidity is the condition to manage. The Canadian Conservation Institute notes that mould needs a relative humidity above 65% to grow, so humidity control and air circulation protect leather aboard.

How do you stop objects sliding under way?

Choose yacht accessories whose form does the work. Coasters that live on a stainless steel stand stay together. A napkin holder with a steel handle weights the napkins. Valet trays with 6 cm sides contain a watch and keys, and a bathroom set on its own tray moves as one.

Can everything match in one colour?

Yes, with one check. Veyra Deck leather comes in eight tones: Khaki, Black, Navy Blue, Grey, Mink, Beige, Tan and Brown. Seven of them, every tone except Brown, run through every leather piece in this guide apart from the backgammon set, which comes in Turquoise, Cream, Forest Green and Sage Green. Brown is missing from the large serving tray, the bathroom set and the thermos, among others. Choose one of the seven for an exact match.

How do you look after leather and steel aboard?

Keep leather accessories out of prolonged direct sunlight, which the Canadian Conservation Institute says "can cause discolouration". If salt is left on 304-grade stainless steel it can tea-stain, so rinse with fresh water and dry. The full routine is on the care and maintenance page.

How long does delivery take, and who pays the duties?

Veyra Deck pieces are held in stock and ship within 1-2 business days. Delivery typically takes 4-15 business days depending on the destination, and shipping is free worldwide. Orders ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): we pay customs duties and import taxes, so nothing is charged on delivery.

Where to start

Start with three Veyra Deck pieces across three rooms. Take the Large Woven Leather Serving Tray, 50 x 37 cm, for the salon. Add the Woven Leather Valet Tray, 18.5 cm, for each cabin and the Four-Piece Bathroom Set for each head. Then browse the full tray range.
