Three square trays — 41 cm, 31 cm and 21 cm — with full-grain leather outside and a mirrored surface on top. The mirror is the point: it doubles candlelight and lifts whatever is placed on it.

The three nest into one another for stowage. Used separately they read as three related objects; used together on one surface they build height and reflection at three levels.

Aboard, the set suits a salon table or a dining sideboard, particularly in the evening. Ashore it works for the same purpose on a console or a dressing table.
