A round placemat made entirely from full-grain leather, 36 cm across and 1 cm thick. The circle frames a plate cleanly, which is why round mats suit formal settings and round tables alike.

At 1 cm the mat is substantial enough to lie flat and stay flat — it does not curl at the edges as thinner materials do. Each is finished by hand.

It protects the table beneath from heat, scratching and marks, and works from daily meals through to a laid table when guests are aboard.
