A lidded box, 32 × 23 cm, wrapped in full-grain leather and framed in solid walnut. The two materials do different work: the walnut gives the box its edges and structure, the leather gives it its surface.

It is made by hand, and the largest of three sizes in the family. The 7 cm depth takes jewellery, watches, tea or coffee capsules, or the contents of a desk drawer without needing internal divisions.

Aboard it suits a salon console, a cabin dresser or a dining sideboard — closed storage that does not need to be hidden. Warm walnut tones sit well against darker joinery.

Care

Wipe the leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid chemical cleaning products, and keep the piece out of direct sunlight and away from excessive heat to preserve the leather surface. Wipe the wooden elements with a dry cloth only; do not allow them to stand in water.
