The square box in the walnut-framed family, 26 cm on each side and 7 cm deep. The square footprint suits a round side table or a square console where a rectangle sits awkwardly.

Full-grain leather over the body, solid walnut framing the edges, made by hand. The even proportions make it the most sculptural of the three — it holds its own as an object even closed and empty.

It works on a salon side table holding tea or coffee capsules, on a dining sideboard, or in a cabin for accessories. Walnut and leather together suit interiors where timber is already present.
