Leather Box with Mahogany Lid – Large

Regular price $350

A shallow lidded box, 34 × 25 cm and 5.5 cm deep, with a body covered by hand in full-grain leather and a lid in natural mahogany. Mahogany is the traditional timber of yacht joinery, which is why it belongs here.

The construction reverses the walnut boxes in the range: here the wood is the lid rather than the frame, so the grain is what you see from above. Each lid differs slightly, as solid timber does.

It suits a salon console, a shelf or a dining sideboard, working as both storage and a finished object. The low profile means it sits under a shelf or in a joinery recess without crowding.
