Slim Leather Tray – 47.5 cm

A long, narrow tray — 47.5 × 14.5 cm and only 1 cm deep. The proportion is unusual and deliberate: it runs the length of a basin surround or a console rather than sitting in the middle of it.

Built on a stainless steel base with full-grain leather worked over it by hand. The steel substrate is what allows the tray to stay flat across nearly half a metre at 1 cm thickness without flexing.

Aboard, it presents folded towels and a candle in the head, or gathers objects along a salon console or entrance shelf. Ashore it does the same in bathrooms, spas and hallways.
