A round placemat, 36 cm across, crocheted by hand and edged with coral-shaped details in red. The corals sit proud of the rim, so each setting reads as a finished composition on the table.

The body is worked in a tight spiral crochet. The natural jute colourway is crocheted from waxed jute cord; the other colourways carry a smooth leather centre inside the crocheted border.

It suits a cockpit or aft-deck table laid for lunch as readily as a galley shelf, and ashore it brings the same coastal note to summer houses, terraces and hotel tables.
